Study on the mechanism of Erzhi Pill in the treatment of breast cancer based on network pharmacology

Objective: To explore the possible mechanism of Erzhi Pill in treatment breast cancer based on network pharmacology. Methods: Through systematic pharmacology database and analysis platform Traditional Chinese medicine (TCMSP) literature review, candidate active ingredients corresponding targets were retrieved collected. The UniProt Human Genome Annotation Database (Genecards) used to compare results, potential target genes obtained for coincidence cancer. Cytoscape was construct “candidate component - action target” Pill. Generate Style from Statistics tool String software combined protein interaction network.The Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomics (KEGG) pathway enrichment GO classification conducted using Annotation, Visualization Integrated Discovery (DAVID ) bioinformation resource Database. Results: A total 21 components, including Beta-sitosterol, Quercetin, Luteolin, Demethylwedelolactone, Kaempferol so on, screened Pill, 158 genes, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), amino-terminal kinase (C-Jun), proto-oncogene (C-MYC), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9), mainly involved TNF-α, phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase/protein B(PI3K/Akt), tumor suppressor gene p53, toll-like receptor family other signaling pathways. Conclusion: This study predicted method pharmacology, provided a direction further research.
